Bangor Municipal Golf Course is a 27-Hole Championship layout located minutes away from major attractions such as The Bangor Mall, historic downtown Bangor, the Cross Insurance Center, and Hollywood Casino, Bangor Municipal Golf Course is a great golf course for players of all abilities. Bangor Muni has a long standing tradition of hosting great tournaments. In 1978 Bangor hosted the U.S.G.A. Public Links Championship making it the only course in Maine to ever hold a U.S.G.A. Major. It is also home to the Greater Bangor Open, where PGA Tour Major Champions have earned their first victory. Rich in tradition, endless in surprises, incapable of being mastered, Kebo never loses its attraction. A source of pride for Bar Harbor, Kebo is located on Mount Desert Island, bordering Acadia National Park. Kebo is a living entity to the people who challenge its fairways. Its face and character constantly change with the seasons, the wind conditions, and even with the daily movement of the sun.
